Dear Chaplain (Captain) Kim & Mrs Kim

I just wanted to let your know every thing so far has turned out very nicely for Cathy. We went down to Phoenix about two weeks later and saw Doctor Kim and he gave us some very encouraging information on her progress and what to expect in the future.

While we were there in his office I mentioned you to him and he said he would look you up, which I was very  pleased to hear him say. I have very much respect for him as well as for you and your wife. Today I was going through some of my pictures of the past, looking for pictures of my remaining brother so that I can send them to my niece in Georgia. She is going to make a book of his pictures and other information for his next birthday. In going through those pictures I found some that I had taken when I was in Pusan, Inchon, Soul and various other places in and around Korea. It sure brought back some memories. In my old days I have forgotten a lot of things but at the same time I remember a lot of things and places.I have no idea as to when you will return to the USA but will say that I have on many times hoped and prayed that you and your wife had a very pleasant time and look forward to your return to the USA.
