Korean International Ministries

Dear Paster Virgil Grant,

Greetings to you in the name of our precious Lord Jesus Christ!
How are you doing, my dear friend in Jesus Christ?  I hope this e-mail will meet you and your lovely church in peace and joy of the Holy Spirit.

I have returned from Ulchi Feedom Guardian 2012 (UFG 12, a Combined Military Exercise of US and Korea) in Korea last weekend. It was three weeks of exercise and I attended as a chaplain and a linguist for 200th Military Police Commander and CMD soldiers from the States. It was an another great opportunity to share the love of our Father and the gospel of Jesus Christ with my Commanding General and the unit (200th MP CMD) Soldiers as well as a lot of Korean Soldiers and military leaders during this exercise. And since it was my second year of attendance, I was able to provide a lot more practical and effective assistance and advice to the commander and other Soldiers.

Before I left Korea for this mission on August 12, I had completed my previous mission as a Chaplain Trainer for the ROTC Summer Camp in Fort Lewis, WA for two and half months (from May 29th thru August 10th). It was a huge opportunity for the gospel and the glory of the Lord that I conduct various ministries for the ROTC cadets – about 7,000 cadets and 3,000 cadres/trainers from all around the States.

My youngest daughter Lydia has graduated Marshall Fundermental High School which is a public school in Pasadena, CA where I lived more than 10 years till last year. Lydia has presided the graduation ceremony and been awarded one of the most vauable awards as the president of the ASB (Association of Student Board). Lydia is going to Univ of California San Diego (UCSD) with scholarship of more than 80% of tuition. PTL!
However, please pray for that we are praying for the rest of the expense for her study and college life i.e. dormetory monthly payment, etc.  Maria, the oldest daughter is also waiting to return to US Irvine as she taking credits from Pasadena Community College.

I am preparing to visit Siberia (Novosibirsk), Russia to provide a Mission Perspectives seminar for Korean missionaries who have mostly been ministering there more than 10 years so need to be refreshed and updated with new mission knowledge and strategies.  Korean International Ministries (KIM Mission) will provide the full Perspectives seminar with meals for the attending missionaries (about 30 including 20 couples) during the seminar.  The team members will be 5 including myself – the chairperson of the board from Las Palmas, Spain and three Board members who are committed Christian businessmen from Baltimore, MD region where I provided the same seminar this early January.

My friend, I wanted to say thank you for your sincere partnership for this great and holy/spiritual warfare and wanted you to know what I am/ KIM Mission is doing in these days. I am also getting your ministry updates from time to time thru your e-mails and the church website.  I am always praise the Lord for this goodness and faithful blessings upon you and your lovely church.
